Clinical excellence is extremely important to us, which is why we work together with one of Northern Ireland's most respected Ophthalmologists, Professor Colin Willoughby. This partnership allows us to offer patients of Ballymena and the surrounding area the highest standard of eyecare in a relaxed and personal environment.

Professor Willoughby is a Professor of Ophthalmology at Ulster University and a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon in the Belfast Health and Social Care Trust, where he practises in cataract surgery and glaucoma. He trained in Liverpool and Canada and has led eye research at Queen's University Belfast, the University of Liverpool and Ulster University.

He has performed charitable work in India, Cambodia and Sierra Leone tackling cataract and glaucoma blindness, and lectures nationally and internationally on glaucoma, corneal diseases and genetics.
